Description

Duo of Small Overlay Crystal Vases:
1 Small globular vase in cut overlay crystal. Round body and high neck with turned-up rim, crystal made of 3 layers: clear, white, and dark blue. Body cut with decorations of vine leaves and clusters of grapes, circles, and borders.. Antique from the late 19th or early 20th century, unsigned Saint Louis style. Maximum height 17-18cm, approximately 13cm maximum diameter. Good condition but with a chip on the rim of the neck as well as a few more discreet small bumps, and some subtle fine scratches overall. Subtle signs of use inside. Approximately 790g.

The other small baluster soliflore vase, in thick cut crystal, "Overlay" with layers of enamel, white and bright blue. Antique from the late 19th or early 20th century, possibly Saint Louis? Nice shape, neck and flared trumpet with scallops, tall and widening towards the base finishing with a small round base. Double container in colorless crystal, with a first vase lined with a second creating a void between the two. Exterior decoration cut with facets, ovals, and geometric patterns. Height of 22cm, maximum diameter approximately 9cm. Generally in good condition, a veil has dulled the clear glass between the two containers, signs of limescale or wear at the bottom of the neck, a small chip on the enamel and a small star-shaped bump on the inner container, discreet. A few other small discreet flaws and minor scratches. However, a beautiful piece. Approximately 700-800g.
