Eugène Ciceri studied with his father, the painter, Pierre-Luc-Charles Ciceri, with his uncle, the painter and lithographer, Eugène Isabey. He painted landscapes in Fontainebleau and its surroundings, and in the village of Bourron-Marlotte, where he settled in 1849. He began at the Paris Salon in 1851.
