An adventure by Dick Herisson The shadow of the Torero (1988) Text and Drawings by Didier Savard 48 pages (300x225) mm Dargaud Editor Dick Hérisson is a comic book series drawn and scripted by Didier Savard which features a private detective, Dick Hérisson , and his friend Jérome Doutendieu, journalist. The action takes place in the 1930s in France and more particularly in Arles and Provence. The name Dick Hedgehog is a tribute to Harry Dickson, the hero of Jean Ray. This is not the only tribute, the detective living rue Jean Ray in Paris. The investigations are tinged with fantastic as are the news of Jean Ray. The designs are part of an elegant clear line. Discreet tributes to other authors such as Hergé (we see effigies of Tintin and the duponts, one of the characters bears the name of Atom Karaboudjan) abound throughout the pages.
