Icon of Italian design, the Componibili was designed in 1967 by architect and designer Anna Castelli Ferrieri for Kartell. Launched at the Milan Furniture Fair the same year, this small storage unit quickly established itself with its concept that is as simple as it is ingenious: stackable, cylindrical modules that are lightweight, functional, and easily adaptable to everyday uses.
Awarded for the innovation of its design, the Componibili is today part of the permanent collections of MoMA in New York and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. In 2017, Kartell celebrated the 50th anniversary of this model, which has become one of the iconic creations of the Italian brand.
This piece consists of 4 stacked modules, each with a sliding door. Its beautiful glossy mauve finish adds a very elegant and contemporary touch to its minimalist silhouette. It will fit perfectly in a bedroom, a bathroom, or an office, as well as serving as a small accent piece in a living room or hallway.
In excellent condition, close to new. The item shows only a few very slight usage scratches, barely noticeable, with no impact on its aesthetics or functionality.
Please note: the year 1967 corresponds to the design of the model by Anna Castelli Ferrieri, not to the production date of this particular piece, which is a more recent production.
A great classic of Italian design, both practical, decorative, and timeless, offered here in superb condition and an especially elegant color.
