Beautiful pair of Art Deco coasters (or carafe coasters), exuding a very "Roaring Twenties" elegance. The glass is decorated with a stylized floral pattern achieved through sandblasting, which leaves an opaque, frosted background that contrasts beautifully with the clear glass and the frosted edge. The frame is made of silver-plated metal, adorned with a fine checkerboard frieze resembling wickerwork.

The square hallmark visible on the edge (with the mention "Guaranteed Silver" + "2g") indicates that it is silver-plated metal and not solid silver; it could not be attributed to a specific manufacturer.

Very good overall condition, retaining its original patina (slight traces of use and natural oxidation, with no loss or chipping on the glass).
