Height 96 cm Diameter of lampshade 42.5 cm / Delivery by Cocolis: ask me. Marius Musarra is a ceramicist of Sicilian origin, based in Vallauris.

He notably created utilitarian and decorative ceramics, including a series of pieces in speckled black and white fat lava with a bright red interior, a style that is once again in fashion among enthusiasts of the 1950s. In 1950, Marius and Marie Musarra together created their own workshop, named Mabyjo’s, in reference to the first names of their three children.

The glazes from L'Hospied adorn the ceramics.

The name Mabyjo’s is formed by the contraction of the diminutives of the first names of their three children: Marinette nicknamed “Manou,” Gabriel nicknamed “Gaby,” and “Josette.” Marius Musarra has been recognized multiple times at the Vallauris Biennial, as well as in Faenza.

His workshop also trained young ceramicists, such as Max Siffredi, who worked in the studio from 1961 to 1973. L: 42.5 l: 42.5 H: 96
