He notably created utilitarian and decorative ceramics, including a series of spotted black and white fat lava pieces with a bright red interior, a style that is coming back into vogue among 1950s enthusiasts. In 1950, Marius and Marie Musarra created their own workshop together, named Mabyjo’s, in reference to the names of their three children.
The glazes coming from L'Hospied adorn the ceramics.
The name Mabyjo’s is formed by the contraction of the diminutives of the names of their three children: Marinette called "Manou", Gabriel called "Gaby", and "Josette". Marius Musarra has been distinguished several times at the Vallauris Biennale, as well as in Faenza.
His workshop also trained young ceramists, such as Max Siffredi, who worked in the workshop from 1961 to 1973. L: 42 W: 42 H: 96
