Bentwood café chair, Czechoslovakia, mid-20th century. Classic bistro/café chair in the Thonet tradition, made of steam-bent beech wood.

The backrest features a curved rail resting on two curved rear supports, and the seat is made of solid wood (thick plywood) with visible dovetail corners, characteristic front legs in a curved shape with a decorative curved stretcher.

Beautiful honey/amber patina, signs of use consistent with age.

Stamp "Made in Czechoslovakia" visible under the seat, indicating production by one of the major Czechoslovak manufacturers of bent furniture (Thonet-Mundus, Ligna, TON/Thonet, or Jitona depending on the exact model) — likely between the 1930s and 1960s based on the shape of the backrest and arc. Overall good condition, solid seat, no visible repairs.
