Elegant tabletop mirror in gilded brass, published by the Pierre Bex house — a French artisan company founded in Nancy in 1969, renowned for its faithful reissues of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco decorative repertoire. The rectangular frame, featuring the fluid lines characteristic of the 1900 style, unfolds into motifs of floral branches carved in the upper right corner and extends into a curved foot adorned with a lightly-relieved floral rosette.

An elegant female silhouette, with flowing hair and enveloping drapery, nestles along the right post — an emblematic motif of the Art Nouveau aesthetic, both graceful and sculptural. The whole rests on a stable base at the back, allowing the mirror to be placed on a vanity, chest of drawers, or console.

The rectangular glass, in good condition, offers a generous reflective surface. Handmade in France from antique prints, each Pierre Bex piece features a warm gilded patina, true to the spirit of original Belle Époque pieces while aligning with the artisanal craftsmanship of the 1970s.
