Charming set of 5 dessert forks, or entremets, and one larger, silver-plated, stamped by the silversmith Mappin & Webb - a renowned English house since 1775 and official supplier to the British Crown. Antique from the 30s-50s, very chic style, classic English, with symmetrical guilloché and beaded decoration, highly representative of the understated elegance of the late Art Deco or post-Edwardian era. 17.5cm in length for the small ones, 19cm for the large one, 1.9cm in width for the small ones, 2cm for the large one. Very good used condition, metal clean and shiny, some wear from time notably scratches, slightly misaligned tines for some, particularly one somewhat twisted on one of the small forks, discreet and not bothersome. Approximately 46g each.
