Set of 7 antique plates, barbotine earthenware from Sarreguemines, France, produced between 1920 and 1950 - stamped on the back from that era, in the shape of flat fish, soles, in green with a slight iridescent sheen in the light, Art Deco style. Slightly hollow flat plates. Maximum width of 28cm (head + tail), 24cm outer diameter, 16.5-17cm inner diameter, 2.5cm height. Very good condition, some scratches in the centers, contact scratches between the plates but visibly no cutlery marks. Natural crazing of the earthenware, varying in prominence between pieces, natural and discreet, some manufacturing defects such as small areas lacking glaze, light and discreet, no cracks, no chips, they have clearly been stored since their manufacture without being used. 3 nevertheless show traces of water, discreet limescale on 2, visible on 1.
