A dish with zoomorphic decoration and a cup with stylized decoration.The two pieces are signed Roy Durtal In very good condition, some baking defects visible on the photos.For the condition, please detail the photos.In 1943 Yvon Roy created a pottery in Durtal and launches its first tableware collections which will quickly become a benchmark. After the accidental death of Monsieur Roy, the Atelier d'Art was taken over by Robert de Montgolfier. This company is now known throughout the world. Its famous square plates, the “Kyoto” range, are one of its flagships. 73 years later, Yvon Roy would be proud of what the company has become. Bought in 2005 by Delphine Stroesser, Montgolfier is still based in Durtal. The “Living Heritage Company” Label has confirmed the tradition of excellence which has always been the watchword of this Workshop. The photos are an integral part of the description.
