Woven ceramic basket signed Vallauris. Large pierced ceramic basket from Vallauris, circular in shape (33 cm in diameter), made of beautifully glossy emerald green stoneware.
Its entirely perforated decor consists of radiating twists converging towards a central medallion in spiral form, accented with relief motifs reminiscent of clusters or berries.
This decorative piece, typical of Vallauris production from the 1950s to the 1970s, is appealing for the delicacy of its craftsmanship and its luminous glaze.
Signed Vallauris on the reverse. Height 9.5 cm. In good condition.
