Patience is required for assembly as some shelves are difficult to fit together. Care must be taken with the black edge, which tends to slip if too much force is applied to the front. The shelf is in very good condition, with minor surface signs of use and aging: the black edge is slightly crushed in places (where it pushes against the ladders). The black edge tends to detach, but a little glue will fix that. The shelves show signs of scratching from use. The ladders are in very good condition.
