This "Lattenstuhl" model is named by experts in bent wood because it is the only chair made with flat sections for the backrest, legs, and ring, thus in the form of a slat. Only two manufacturers produced it; Thonet designed it around 1895 under No. 91, and Kohn adopted it around 1895 under No. 145, in the same dimensions and curves. Here it is in perfect reproduction of the Thonet from 1890 in glued laminated wood. It is in perfect condition, sturdy and stable. Extremely lightweight, by definition: 1.8 kg. It is the subject of many reproductions that are still current and sometimes surprise, even often. The original color under light shellac is walnut, and the brass of the screws has the oxidation of its age. The cane with six strands is in good condition, manually done in 2.4 by 2.6 as originally.
