Pretty red glass table lamp made in France by the Société Centrale d’Éclairage (SCE), a company based in Ariège that specializes in the creation and manufacture of decorative lighting.

Founded in the mid-20th century, SCE was located in Lézat-sur-Lèze, Ariège, where it developed numerous models of luminaires with contemporary and decorative lines over the decades. Today, this French production is sought after for its vintage aesthetic and authentic character.

With its red glass and simple silhouette, this small lamp will easily fit on a console table, bedside table, bookshelf, or small accent piece, in both vintage interiors and more contemporary décor.

The lamp is in good overall condition. It shows some small losses of red paint, particularly on the upper edge, which are signs of its age and usage. These marks remain discreet and add to the charm of this antique piece.
