Very rare ceramic owl signed TN Bavent in good condition, period to be defined, height 22cm. Note some color losses on the beak and forehead, and possibly some chipping under the foot (possibly from original manufacturing). Origin: This piece comes from the Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent, an emblematic artisan workshop in Normandy, founded in 1842 and known for its ancestral know-how in the manufacture of architectural ceramics and finials.
