Model No. 20 known as "the OMEGA" chair designed by Thonet from 1875 and here supplied by Lebrun, France. Overall curves as beautiful as Thonet's scrolls! Perfect condition, stable and reliable. They were manufactured between 1880 and 1905 in the chair factory "Veuve Lebrun" in Saint Loup sur Semouse (Haute-Saône), which was one of the most important bent wood companies in France behind Baumann and Mahieu. The front legs are mounted and assembled under a patent similar to Kohn's, perhaps more elaborate. Obviously very old cane in excellent condition. Original color: light walnut, well patinated.
