TROPHY BY MAX LE VERRIER LE FAGUAYS CAST IRON 3 ATHLETES 1930 H3680 Here is a spectacular sculpture by Max le VERRIER from the 1930s. It is impressive in size. It is an art cast, more commonly known as spelter. An emblematic subject of decorative art, one of the most prized by Max le VERRIER Perfect for an art deco interior. Everything is in very good general condition. We find on the base the signature of Pierre Camille Marie le Faguays. However, we do note a small filling on the black marble. As well as a chip in one of the corners of the marble (see photo). Micro-scratches for the most picky. It remains still largely presentable! Pierre Camille Marie le Faguays, born in Rezé on August 29, 1892 and died on August 8 September 1962 in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, is a French sculptor of Art Deco style. A student of Vibert at the Geneva School of Fine Arts, Pierre le Faguays works with various publishers including Max Le Verrier, the Susse foundry, Etling, the nephews of J. Lehman, among others. His style is similar to that of Demetre Chiparus. He participated in his first exhibition at the Salon of the Société des Artistes Français in 1922. He received an honorable mention in 1926 and another honorable mention, in the Sculpture section, in 1927 For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Do not hesitate to zoom.
