Sublime, rare large round dish Swiss pottery enamel from Thun, antique 1878 - 1890, signed/stamped Schoch-Läderach. Made of terracotta, incised with stylized flower motifs and geometric pattern borders, glazed in an extremely pale white/yellow background, with dark green, dark reddish-orange, yellow, dark blue tones. Stunning handcrafted production. 31cm in diameter, 2cm in height, slightly hollow in the center. Very good overall condition despite its age, some signs of wear, however, including a number of relatively discreet chips/losses of glaze, 2 small losses of glaze in the center, one somewhat visible as the tip of a green leaf, another discreet and smaller white on the beige background. Glaze cracked over time, harmonious ensemble. Approximately 1kg.
