Its body, shaped like a covered pot, is signed Porcelaine de Paris, a company founded in 1773 (marked with two arrows), heir to the prestigious tradition of the La Courtille factory. The black and gold decoration, applied by hand, required many weeks of meticulous work. Each golden motif is delicately placed on a deep black background, giving the whole piece a rare and luxurious presence.
