Denis Avonts stoneware lamp in La Borne. The lamp is characterized by a beautiful gradient of blue. D. Avonts begins with training as a welder and holds various jobs. In 1973, he joined the workshop of Pierre Digan – Janet Stedman (ceramicists), where he started as a calibrator before learning turning with Janet Stedman. After the closure of the Digan workshop in 1979, he built his own wood-fired kiln and started as a pottery craftsman in 1981 in La Borne. Together with his wife Dominique Avonts, he mainly produces wood-fired stoneware, respecting the Borne tradition while developing a personal style. Height 60 cm. Height with socket 32-33 cm.
