Exceptional square hollow plate, made by the famous Maison Pichon factory in Uzès.

Although unsigned on the back, its technical craftsmanship, its beveled mold of 26 cm, and its graphic aesthetic confirm that it comes from the same artist series as the previous one. The plate showcases a remarkable background decor hand-painted to imitate the grain of a flamed wood (faux-wood or agate effect) in chocolate brown, ochre, and caramel tones.

At its center blooms a stylized pear in bright saffron yellow, topped with two deep green leaves highlighted by raised lines and very graphic black shadows. A superb example of Provençal art pottery from the 1960s/1970s, ideal for pairing with the squash model or starting a service.
