Charming little oval tray with scalloped edges made of black lacquered metal, Russian craftsmanship from Zhostovo, dating from the Soviet era (USSR, 1970s/1980s).
It is adorned with a bouquet of multicolored flowers (yellow, orange, blue) entirely hand-painted, enhanced by a delicate golden frieze along the edge.
The black lacquer has retained a very nice shine.
Collector's item: On the back, there is the original stamp with the fixed price of the time in Cyrillic ("Цена 10 руб" - Price 10 Rubles).
Dimensions: 19.5 cm x 17 cm Condition: Very good vintage condition, well-shining lacquer, minimal normal usage traces on the back.
Perfect as a retro catchall, courtesy tray, or for decoration in a bohemian and Slavic folklore style.
