LITTLE BRONZE CARTEL MOVEMENT A COQ DIAL ENAMEL LOUIS XV STYLE END XVIII BEGINNING XIX EME H3357 This small cartel is late 18th, bronze but also watchmaking make us think of this time. you will find a nice gilding.The dial is in enamel, we note cracks and a lack between the number 10 and 11. We can read the letter G and X on the movement.Note that the door is missing at the back, stains on the back, trace of a label, screw missing on the right below the dial, scratches and small stains in places. Pendulum sold as is, unrevised, uncleaned, untested. I do not guarantee operation.A rooster is a balance bridge which has an ear in which the eyebolt is fixed. When they were first created, roosters were relatively simple and had a very elongated shape. They were fixed by a key (part which serves to link two rotating parts). In the 18th century, the roosters, which then almost entirely covered the movement, were pierced and decorated with engravings representing flowers, leaves or even animals. There were two types of ancient roosters: English roosters, which were round with a very wide attachment heel, and French roosters, which could be oval or round and had side ears. to detail the photos.
