Pretty old art deco/art nouveau planter in slip/wide oblong sandstone, on a small foot, with 2 handles. Top of the planter decorated with sober plant motifs, top interior and exterior enamel smooth marbled dark khaki/green notes of turquoise, outer bottom rough enamel/sandstone light khaki/orange. 26cm in length by 13.5cm in height. Very good general condition, some discreet chips on the foot (2 of 5-6mm) as well as a bigger one but below (cannot be seen) and on one of the tops of the rim (3mm) + a few tiny ones on the edges barely visible (1mm or less). About 1kg.
Style very close to that of Alfred Renoleau signature under the bottom, seems to be GI, numbered 503. Very pretty sober and elegant piece. #889
