Beautiful set of 5 19th-century enhanced engravings, polychrome and framed under glass in gilded wood. In excellent condition. The largest: "the assembly in the parlor" measures 43cmx33cm overall. Next is "The Snack," featuring 2 women and 1 man drinking coffee, measuring 23cmx28cm. Then "The Ephrussi Villa of Rothschild," with two women and a man reading, measures 23cmx28cm. Following is "The Lady with the Muff," measuring 23cmx26cm, and finally "The Fortune Teller" of the same dimension. All taken from the works of Nicolas Lavreince (1737-1807 Stockholm). A very beautiful set and a great deal.
