Rare set of 5 compartmentalized plates produced by Steuler Keramik in West Germany in the 1970s. This model stands out for its particularly elaborate organic shape, quite distant from traditional fondue plates.

Each piece features a central basin surrounded by an elegant relief of cabochons, as well as several integrated compartments for separating sauces, sides, tapas, or various preparations. The gradient decoration from chocolate brown to ivory is characteristic of Steuler's high-end productions.

The sculptural silhouette and the treatment of volumes strongly resemble the work of Cari Zalloni, an iconic designer of the German manufacturer.
