Set of 2 Vintage Terracotta Garden Gnomes - 1940s

Dating from the 1940s, after a few decades at the bottom of the garden, this pair of dwarves is now perfectly weathered.
Bad weather and a few snails have transformed these everyday objects into a real collector's item.

Very popular in garden decoration after the release of Walt Disney's famous "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in 1937.
This lot is a very poetic vintage vestige.

The terracotta structure of the Dwarves is in perfect condition. No cracks or chips.
