Very nice set of 6 spice jars and their wall-mounted salt box in footed earthenware.
The typical decoration of the Art Deco period, in olive green and brown, consists of polka dots, stripes, and a medallion of stylized roses, highlighted with beautiful matching black lettering. This is done using stenciling and an airbrush. The jars and lids are enhanced with recessed lines.
The wall-mounted salt box and its wooden lid enhance this series; it is rare to have the complete set!
It can find its place back in your kitchen, bringing a lovely vintage touch.

COFFEE: used condition: the lid has a crack, the jar has a chip on one foot, and another on the rim. Two cracks extend from the rim toward the middle, and another less significant one on the back.
SUGAR: one large chip under the lid in the corner. Jar in good condition.
TEA: good condition with a network of crazing in the glaze
PEPPER: one large chip underneath the lid and wear on the rim. Jar in good condition with a network of crazing in the glaze and small chips on the rim
