It is a beautifully crafted decorative element, late 19th century. Marquetry on the top, rhombus on the bottom. There is a Louis XVI inspiration in this piece of furniture, we sell 2 other pieces of furniture from the same provenance. We report friction and light wear on wood and marble, note marks on the front of the drawer visible in the photos, wear of gilding on the brass decorations, the marble is in good general condition no shocks or cracks.
