Roland Zobel (1915-2006) was a French ceramist. After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Bourges and at the International School of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, Roland Zobel (1915-2006) settled in the Cévennes region, in Anduze, a town with a great pottery tradition. His studio, Les Cyclades, was the setting for the creation of his terracotta pieces in the 1950s. Rare ceramic plaque with a lion's head, emblematic of Zobel's work.
