Roger Collet (1933-2008), born in Switzerland, graduated from the Chavannes-Rennes ceramics school in 1952. He moved to Paris and worked with the Cloutier brothers. He then moved to Vallauris in 1956 and collaborated with numerous ceramists, including Roger Capron. He opened his own workshop in 1966, producing utilitarian pieces, pitchers, and vases. From 1983, influenced by Chinese celadon, he produced monochrome pieces of great purity. Ceramic pitcher signed Collet and Vallauris, 1960s.
