Original vintage coffee table, composed of an old ornately decorated oriental top and a contemporary driftwood base.

Brought back from travel in the second half of the 20th century, the dark wood top features a remarkable marquetry design with mother-of-pearl inlays reminiscent of ancient Egypt.

The top is paired with a hand-painted driftwood base with a gold finish. The contrast between the ancient decoration and the contemporary organic structure makes it a truly unique piece.

The top and base are independent and held together by a suction cup system.

In very good general condition. Some light signs of age and use, consistent with the age of the piece. The marquetry and inlays are well preserved, with no significant loss or damage.
