Beautiful Coconut from Las Choyas Mexico agate and quartz geode.
It is rare because it has the exact proportions of a real coconut, which gave it its name.
You can find dark ones, others with a center that is almost filled, and small ones that do not really resemble coconuts.
Aside from its ideal dimensions of about 13.5 cm in diameter and approximately 6.5 cm in height, it has the perfect whiteness of quartz with its discreet agate crown. This one is exceptional; such successful ones are very rarely seen.
It is in very good condition and has not been damaged during opening. There are many videos featuring a rudimentary system of bicycle chains used to open them, but this was not the case here. It retains its hemispherical shape.
It weighs about 800 grams.
