It has a contoured shape with yellow, brown violet, blue, and green decoration. Heavy, fairly thick paste, dense slightly bluish opaque white glaze, some cooking imperfections (bubbles and traces of pins), and glaze imperfections (thickness or drips from the original), some wear and glaze skips on the edges, see the last photos. No signature as is customary.
It is authentic and dates from the revolutionary period (slightly bluish white glaze and traces of pins).
It represents a sans-culotte standing on a mound holding in one hand the constitution of Year 1 (1793) and in the other a pike topped with a Phrygian cap. The rim is classically decorated with a scattering of flowers and stylized garlands.
Its subject is the constitution of Year 1 (1793), a rare theme. I have attached a photo of a similar plate sold at auction for 384 euros plus fees in 2006.
As you can see, this plate is in very good condition, with some glaze skips on the edges. No cracks or chips.
Its weight is 418 grams and the diameter is approximately 23.6 cm.
Shipment is very well protected via registered Colissimo at 12 euros or via Chronopost Shop2shop at 8 euros.
Shipping is possible in Europe via registered Colissimo at 20 euros.
