Pierrot inkwell – Registered Design Limoges, 1930s Charming Limoges porcelain inkwell dating from the 1930s, depicting a dreamy Pierrot dressed in his traditional white and blue outfit. This decorative object measures approximately 13.5 cm in height and 6.8 cm in width. The inkwell is composed of a perforated metal reservoir, stabilized with Patafix (without altering its original condition), which was probably used to hold a moistened sponge to clean the nib. A side hole is also present, suggesting a practical function related to the ink. Please note: the underside of the character has been glued back on, which is visible in the photos, but this in no way alters its charm and authenticity.
