Description
Pair of wall sconces from the second half of the 20th century in Louis XV style made of solid bronze, with a gilded patina in antique gold, featuring floral decorations. The mark of the bronzier Lucien Gau "L.G." is visible on the back of one of the two. There is oxidation of the gilding on the bobeches, as seen in the photos. The candle covers are made of cardboard and show some marks. The original bobeches and lampshades are in very good general condition, with only a few very light marks on the lampshades.
Small E14 screw base bulbs.
Old electricity that works (tested).
Dimensions:
Without the lampshades: 20cm wide, 25cm high (without the bulbs!) and 9cm deep; with the lampshades (which have a diameter of 7cm at the top, 9cm at the bottom, and a height of 9cm): 23cm wide, 33cm high, and approximately 12cm deep.
