Pair of vases in opaline overlay on crystal, bohemian on pedestal, circa 1900. These vases come from the Moser crystal factory. A vase, overlay is a crystal and opaline object made up of two or three opaque or translucent layers of different colors superimposed but it can also be in doubled or tripled crystal on enamel. It is then cold cut in hollow or in relief to form reserves in contrasting colors and make the pattern appear.
