PAIR OF CHENETS NAPOLEON III GOLDEN BRONZE TRITON DOUBLE PATINA 19TH M640 This pair of andirons is from the Napoleon III period. They are lovely. They feature two newts affixed to a floral support. On the edge we find a typical Louis XVI decor with a frieze. A rich decoration on the bottom in recovery. You will notice a double patina: chocolate and gold for the frieze. They are very fine, we are there in the greatest tradition of Napoleon III, rich and exuberant. They will be perfect in a chic interior. However, we do report verdigris as well as stains and wear.
