Pair 2 of large shutters (H220cm x L120.5cm) in fir, painted, 19th century.
Classic mounting with tenon mortise, with its shutters. The faded orange paint on the exterior completely insolated is chipped in places especially on the exterior. We brushed them all over and removed the paint that was lifting. The carpentry is in relatively good condition, the vertical upright carrying the espagnolette is still damaged: metal reinforcement plate in the upper part, lack at the bottom, old traces of xylophagous insects. They are strong and sturdy.
This pair of shutters is fitted with its hinges with hinges on the front, its espagnolette as well as its two windbreak hooks on the interior part with their rings, these bars are screwed on two diamond-shaped plates. They are marked I towards a turntable.
We currently have two other pairs of similar flaps (orange), and whose dimensions are very close, the 3 pairs are visible in the last photo.
They can of course be turned into an authentic decorative object (mounted as a screen, headboard, etc.) with this chipped paint as desired or be stripped according to the desired finish.
