Opaline globe ceiling light, Art Deco/Industrial — 1930s-1950s. Vintage ceiling light featuring a blown white opaline glass globe in a spherical shape, mounted on a cut-corner white glazed porcelain base (octagonal shape).

The globe is secured by 3 brass wing screws, allowing for easy disassembly for maintenance or bulb replacement — a system typical of utility light fixtures in France and Central Europe during this period, commonly found in bathrooms, building lobbies, stairwells, or bourgeois interiors. The opaline diffuses a soft and even light, while the white porcelain, resistant to heat and easy to clean, was favored for water-related areas.
