Description

Beautiful antique condiment server, an elegant testimony to the art of the table from times past.

This refined set consists of a circular silver-plated display stand, richly decorated and resting on small decorative feet, topped with a beautiful ornate central handle for easy serving.

It holds four transparent glass containers with cut and molded designs:

– two bottles with their beautiful faceted stoppers, traditionally intended for oil and vinegar;
– one container with an articulated metal lid, suitable for mustard or another condiment;
– one container with a perforated lid, intended for salt, pepper, or spices.

The contrast between the shiny glass with geometric patterns and the patina of the metal gives the whole set tremendous charm.

Its style evokes European condiment services from the late 19th / early 20th century, in the spirit of Victorian and Edwardian table services. However, in the absence of a clearly identified hallmark, the exact origin and dating cannot be guaranteed.

Approximate dimensions:
Total height with handle: 20 cm
Diameter of the display stand: 14 cm
Height of the bottles: 14 cm
Capacity of the bottles: approximately 80 ml

In beautiful vintage condition, with a patina and natural signs of use related to its age, which contribute to its authenticity and charm. Please carefully review the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.

A very lovely piece to complete an antique table, a country house decoration, a classic interior, or a collection of antique tableware. It can also be used today as an elegant oil, vinegar, and condiment service.

Sold complete as shown in the photographs.
