Black and white lithograph, old extract from a copy of the auction catalog "Galerie Crespi" 1914, "The Virgin of Ave Maria" workshop of Leonardo da Vinci said Leonardo da Vinci. Renaissance Italian School, painting executed in Milan at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century. It is likely that Leonardo da Vinci himself worked on this painting, especially on the face of the Virgin, it is also likely that the master started this painting which would then have been taken up and finished by a pupil, possibly Ambrogio da Predis, author of "The Virgin of the Rocks". Framed in a frame under vintage resin glass in a dark wood style and golden interior edging, rounded corners slightly ornamented with rounding. Anti-reflective glass, Deknudt brand (Belgium). Frame in good condition, however, lacks a bar at the back but the glass holds, also lacks the metal bar to put it down, no breakage or chipping of the glass, some small marks of time / blows on the resin, 20 ,5x15cm, picture size 16.5x11.3cm. Impeccable lithograph but cropped to the dimensions of the frame. About 250g.
