OIL ON PAPER BY FERNAND ALBERIC DAUCHO (1898-1982) 47 BEACHED BARKS I18 The frame is of course posterior, the watercolor on paper has remained in a good state of conservation. It is a mid-20th century work (1947). It represents beached boats, probably fishing boats. Signed lower left by DAUCHO 47.Fernand Dauchot Studied at the School of Applied Arts in Paris, then at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. He left for the front in 1917 and returned wounded. The painter mainly painted Brittany: he arrived in Pont-Aven in 1923 and frequented other artists at the Hôtel de la Poste. The works of the painter remained unknown to the general public for many years, but the paintings of Fernand Dauchot illustrate since 2010 the envelopes of the post offices of Concarneau, Névez and Pont-Aven6 and what should help to make this painter known. Everything is beautifully made. Let us note tasks in places. Sold as is, as presented. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Do not hesitate to zoom.
