Victorien Harel known as Coran d'Ys (1877-1954) painted Breton landscapes, most often in the form of gouaches and watercolors with fine lines and a Japanese style. Coran d'Ys is interested in the underwater world and is part of the realistic movement that began in painting in 1930.
