The work of Daniel Sabater y Salabert was offered to auctions, several times, with realized prices going up to more than 15,000 euros, depending on the size and medium of the work. Since 2011, the record price for this artist at auction is 18,000 euros for UNA ESPAÑOLA EN EL INFERNO, sold at Sotheby's Paris in 2019. The artist died in 1951Daniel Sabater was a Spanish artist best known for his military and macabre populated scenes of witches and monsters as well as religious paintings. This oil on cardboard represents a virgin with a vision of Christ, there is a very surreal side that we find in Daniel Sabater Note the friction and wear the work remains however acceptable.
