OIL ON CANVAS BY MAURICE CALLEWAERT YOUNG GIRL WITH A JUG XXEME A4124 This oil on canvas was produced by Maurice Callewaert it represents a young girl holding a jug, it is a twentieth work probably from the 60s Maurice Callewaert (Mouscron 1900-Paris 1986) Belgian painter, from West Flanders, 20th century. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants, nudes and landscapes. It is in good condition with a Montparnasse carved wooden frame. The subject is pleasant, well brought up, well treated. We note some friction, small cracks, a small lack of paint on the green background to the right of the shoulder. The frame is in good condition, some friction to report.
