OIL ON CANVAS BY FRANCIS BLIN FARM LANDSCAPE END XIX EME PALMETTE FRAME H980 Oil on canvas by FRANCIS BLIN, landscape, farm, late nineteenth in palmette frame This oil on canvas represents a farm body, a farmer with in front of him hay, hens on the left. Everything is late 19th century with a palmette frame. Restoration to be noted in the sky, we also see a small restoration on the back. Note accidents on the frame. The technique is interesting. Sold as presented .Francis Blin, born September 11, 1827 in Rennes, died July 26, 1866 in Rennes, is a French painter.Pupil of François-Édouard Picot (1786-1868) at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, Francis Blin has known a certain notoriety for his landscapes, concerning mainly the region of Monterfil and the Emerald Coast. He exhibited at the Salons of Paris from 1852 to 1866, was honorably mentioned in 1859, medalist in 1865, obtained the medal of honor in 1866. He died in Rennes a few weeks later His widow, Jeanne-Marie-Auguste Fauquembergue, married the painter Amédée Guérard. Francis Blin had a house in Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, where he invited his friend Amédée Guérard. In Brittany, at least four streets bear his name. For the state please detail the photos.
