An endearing personality
Born in Namur on June 4, 1921, on Rue Saint-Jean, Odette Dijeu is an endearing personality who left her mark on the heart of her city with her artistic presence for nearly sixty years!

Her boutique-studio welcomed thousands of Namur residents and tourists from around the world.

A student of Albert Dandoy at the École des Beaux-Arts de Namur, she could have pursued a career as a painter, following in the footsteps of her master, of whom she is a faithful disciple. But it was ceramics for which she obtained First Prize with Great Distinction in 1952 in the class of Marise Rogister, who then guided her whole life.
